Absolutely shocking... Booked with UPS, they don’t turn up to collect, and ParcelCompare expect you to have to pay in full again before they re collect.!!
Booked collection for Monday with paperwork to be brought with driver (printer broken) did not arrive. After emailing Parcel Compare rebooked for Tuesday again with paperwork included - UPS arrived with no paperwork- parcel not collected. Emailed Parcel Compare again - no answer to why paperwork not with driver. No rebooking of collection discussed. Ended up ringing UPS direct to rebook the collection for Thursday. Emailed Parcel Compare asking why everything has gone wrong with collection and that I had rung UPS myself to book collection, only to receive email back saying THEY had booked a collection for Thursday duplicating what I had already done. Paperwork to be printed by Parcel Compare and sent to UPS. STILL no explanation as to why everything had gone wrong. UPS arrived but again with NO PAPERWORK. Luckily they had blank shipment documents in the van and I was able to fill the details in by hand and the parcel was collected.
Summary of my experience. BAD.
Paid for printed paperwork to be provided. NO REFUND OFFERED as service not provided.
Finally received email with explanation of bad service “ COLLECTION NOT GUARANTEED” on day it’s booked for. My reply is if the paperwork had been sent over as paid forDo the collection would have been picked up as expected.
The parcel arrived smashed and I have had to reimburse the buyer. When the parcel was collected the delivery man took it off me with one hand and swung it around. I told him it was a mirror and to take care. Despite the parcel being protected with huge amounts of bubble wrap and cardboard they still managed to break it - and I am not talking about a small chip - both the glass and the frame are broken. To add insult to injury according to the website I am not entitled to compensation - it appears almost every type of thing you would wish to post is on the exclusion list of items that do not qualify for compensation if broken in transit. So ultimately I have paid Parcelcompare £16 to destroy my property . I won’t be using you ever again.
First impressions always last. After 2 failed attempts of dropping off my parcel at the selected drop of point to be told twice "sorry we dont take the parcels anymore" to then go back home and select a second shop to print and change the labels TWICE THIS HAPPENED to then **** it off and select pick up from home instead. If shops on your records aren't taking dropped off parcels "UPDATE YOUR F@CKING WEBSITE. All that fart arsing around made me miss a work meeting as I had to stay in to wait for the parcel to be f@CKING picked up. Not impressed at all.
I couldn't put a minus 5 on the review or I would have. the parcel got delivered by Hermes and got smashed about broke what was inside and cant even have the decency to offer to return it back for free, i have to pay for a return with a company who can offer any help with clear picture of extreme damage done. Very poor customer service, no personal touch just robotic and scripted answers from an insufficient company.
Didn’t deliver my parcel due to borders being closed and still have not refunded my money!!!! Disgusting service!!!!
