My package, a Sony turntable in its manufacturer's box with extra padding, was despatched to a service specialist, very amply protected, via UPS thru ParcelCompare in July. It arrived with irreparable damage. There ensued prolonged argument and hassle with ParcelCompare as to whether it was damaged at all and whether because of inadequate packaging; it was then removed for an inspection which took four weeks rather than the promised five days; UPS claimed "not responsible, inadequate packaging"; I refuted this; it was then to be returned to me only on payment of PC's charges of £21 (later waived under my protest); finally it was returned to me at home, not to the service shop from which it had been uplifted, as I had instructed! After all that, ParcelCompare eventually accepted liability and paid up the enhanced cover amount for which I had contracted. This all took around 48 emails! Payment finally reached me on 9th October. Can you see why I have only given one star?

Good collection of providers, but the price for the one I chose included VAT and insurance on the ParcelCompare website. This was the same amount on the provider's website (UPS) but did not include those tow tariffs. Maybe not PC's fault in this case.
They were the cheapest sit to Singapore and the item arrived in 4 days . I was impressed
The website was easy to use and the prices were better than the delivery companies own website.
I hadn’t used a courier before to return an item but the package I had was too big for me to take it to the post office, I didn’t know how to go about it but found Parcelcompare on the internet and thought I’d give it a go, I would recommend them and definitely use this service again. The whole process was easy from start to finish and I’ve had a confirmation email from the company I was returning to so I know the item was delivered promptly.
Easily tracked and delivered to USA in a much faster time and cheaper than our usual sender.
Tried most postal services and this is the best in every way. Price and timing. Won't use another international postal service as really happy with this one
Very good service , arrived in Spain with 7 days. Slight damage to padded envelope along seam. I will ensure I sucureall seams in future.
I used Fedex via Parcel Compare. I had no problems at all via the service provided by parcel compare, however my Fedex Collection driver did ask for additional printed documents, so it would be advisable for Parcel Compare to update their guidelines. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars.
I did hear that my recipient was displeased with the Fedex Service on their end due to a shoddy deliver attempt abroad - this is down to the fedex service abroad not down to Parcel Compare. It was resolved quite easily with a phone call and collection from depot.
I do have to say that the driver who collected from U.K. was extremely helpful, polite and competent.
Clearer instructions about paperwork required. I printed off an extra copy for the place where I left it but it wasnt needed.
Also was a bit anxious the space i had to leave it was accessible to anyone coming in the shop
