Prohibited and Restricted Items when Sending to Argentina

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to find out that you can’t send fireworks or firearms by courier – after all, they are dangerous goods. Other items that are not allowed to be sent by courier might be a little more surprising though; you can’t send perfume or cologne, for example. Be sure to check out our full list of restricted items before booking your shipment.

Argentina also have their own rules about what you can bring into the country. Some of the goods that are not allowed include:

  • Used tires, including tires that have been recapped or refurbished
  • Telephones that operate between 1880 Mghz-1900 Mghz
  • Used motorcycles
  • Used clothing
  • Light bulbs for residential use, except those that run on low power and voltage

This is not a comprehensive list of goods that are restricted from import to Argentina, though it covers the items you are most likely to encounter as long as you are not involved in any illegal activity. If you want to double check that your parcel is allowed into Argentina then contact their customs direct.
