Prohibited and Restricted Items when Sending to Bangladesh

There are a variety of items not allowed into Bangladesh when sending by courier. This is in addition to our standard list of prohibited items and items forbidden by IATA.

Required documentation for importing into Bangladesh

When sending gifts to Bangladesh, a written authorisation from the recipient is required.

When sending samples to Bangladesh, the recipients VAT/Tax ID is required.

For high-value shipments, you will need to provide the recipients VAT/tax ID, and import registration certificate, and authorisation from the recipient.
