Prohibited and Restricted Items when Sending to Burma

There are rules and regulations about what you are allowed to send when it comes to shipping internationally. Burma, also known as Myanmar, does not allow you to bring whatever you like into the country – instead, if your shipment contains any of the following, it will not be allowed to clear customs:

• Counterfeits of any description
• Adult, illicit or pornographic goods
• Narcotics and other drugs
• Playing cards
• Any goods that have a flag of the Union of Myanmar printed on them

It's important to keep in mind that this is not a comprehensive list of goods that you are not allowed to import into Burma. To see the full list, check the Myanmar Customs website.
