Prohibited and Restricted Items in Kuwait

Before you book your delivery to Kuwait with it’s a good idea to check that there’s nothing in it which would see it returned, or even confiscated, by Kuwaiti Customs.

First stop should be ’s list of prohibited items, which none of our couriers will carry. Both our couriers and Kuwaiti Customs agree that guns, booze and pornography are better suited to mafia movie mobsters than international shipping, so you will not be able to send anything that fits those descriptions.

The Middle East is a hotbed of political tensions, and Kuwait’s prohibited items list reflects this by banning any items which originate in Israel from entering the country. Be sure to check where your products were made before you pack them.

If you’re sending to a Swedish friend who is currently in Kuwait then they may well request a tin of the popular tobacco product Snus. However, they will have to wait until they are back in their homeland, as if you try to ship any to Kuwait it will not make it past the border.

Finally, if you want to bulk up your beach body then you may be tempted to ship some bodybuilding supplements into Kuwait. However, these can only be imported by a company which has a licence from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health.
