Prohibited and Restricted Items when Sending to Sri Lanka

There is a whole host of things you can send with , but there are also several items that we don’t carry.

Before you package your shipment to Sri Lanka you should be sure that everything in it is allowed into the country.

Your first stop should be ’s list of prohibited items – these are goods which our couriers will not carry to any destination.

On top of this, Sri Lanka has a few prohibitions when shipping there. Items such as drugs and pornography are covered by our regulations. However, Sri Lanka is a country of mixed religions, from Buddhists to Muslims and Christians, and any anti-religious materials are also strictly banned from entering the country.

If you want to send medicines to Sri Lanka then they must be for personal use only, be in their original packaging, and be accompanied by both the prescription and a doctor’s note.
