Prohibited and Restricted Items when Sending to Turkey

Although there are plenty of things you can send to Turkey, there are also several items that Turkey restricts for import. In much the same way, no courier will carry everything – everyone has a list of items that they refuse to carry. You can see ’s list of prohibited items here , which reflects our partners’ lists. If you’re not sure whether or not your goods are allowed into Turkey, please contact Turkish customs before booking your delivery.

Turkey has several additional restrictions above the courier restrictions, which means that couriers may be willing to carry the goods, but they will not be allowed into Turkey. This includes items like:

• Spawn of silk-worm
• Gambling equipment
• Counterfeit goods
• Measuring equipment that doesn’t conform to Turkish standards

Please note that this list is not comprehensive. If your goods do not appear on this list and you are not sure that they are allowed into Turkey, please contact Turkish customs to ensure that they are before booking a shipment.
