Because Croatia is a part of the European Union, you don’t need to worry about duties and taxes when your package clears customs if you’re sending from inside the EU. There are exemptions for low value goods that are dispatched from outside of the EU – so if your goods are worth less than €22, no fees will be applied during clearance.
To make sure that there are no problems when clearing customs, it’s vital that you properly complete your customs paperwork. Make sure that you fully declare that value and nature of your goods in your paperwork, or you may have fees incorrectly applied.

We offer urgent same day collection, and cheaper next day collect. We collect during office hours, on working weekdays, with most pick-ups being made in the afternoon. We cannot offer a specific collection time, but we do let you choose a collection window.
And if you don’t fancy the idea of languishing around the house waiting for a courier to collect your parcel, you can use one of our Access Points instead. These are local businesses that you can drop your parcel off at your convenience, freeing you to go about your day.
When we ship a parcel to you, we’ll attempt up to three deliveries, all of which will be between 9am and 7pm on normal working days. We require proof of delivery on our shipments, so we have to hand your parcel over to a person – no forcing it through the mailbox here.
If you need to narrow that window down a little, you can choose to use one of our timed delivery services, which are shorter delivery slots in which your package will be delivered. Keep in mind that we still cannot be exact, however.
It can be stressful entrusting your parcel into someone else’s hands, so we do everything that we can to make your package shipping process as relaxing as possible. Our parcel tracking updates in real-time, so you can be sure that your knowledge is just as up to date as ours, and double check the status of your parcel whenever you like.
And if your package hits any stumbling blocks on the journey, you’ll be the first to know. We’ll get in touch with you and your receiver to explain the issue and how to go about rectifying it.
Learn more about tracking your Croatia shipmentJust like sending a normal package, for gift shipments from inside the EU there’s no need to worry about duties and taxes. Croatia does allow low value gifts from outside the EU into the country without having to pay duties and taxes, so as long as your gift is worth less than €22, it will enter the country without paying fees.
To take advantage of this gift exemption, you’ll need to declare that your goods are intended as a gift. However, unless you additionally declare the full nature and value of your goods, there may be problems or delays in clearing customs.

There’s always going to be bumps and knocks to your parcel while they get carried around the world. To make sure that your goods are not damaged in transit, it’s important to properly package your goods.
Using a strong, new box is a key part of protecting your goods. An old box may look sturdy enough, but could be concealing weaknesses that cause bursting or crushing in transit. A new, double corrugated cardboard box should be used for each shipment.
Set your goods sailing in a sea of packaging material, but be sure to wrap them individually first. There should be several centimetres of packaging material between your goods and the walls of the box, and there should be no movement when you shake the box.
By using plenty of packaging tape, you can support the weakest parts of your box. Use your tape to protect the corners and seals by wrapping your box three times in a union flag pattern. Then apply your labels so all information is clearly visible, especially the barcode.
You can. There are some extra rules about shipping food however, so keep those in mind when planning your shipment. Most importantly, you should make sure that all food goods are store bought and in its original packaging.
That depends on the value. Shipments from within the EU don’t have to worry about duties and taxes, but gifts sent from outside the EU will have to pay fees in clearing customs – unless they’re worth less than €22, in which case they will enter without having to pay fees.
There are rules about what you can ship via courier, since some goods that seem innocuous may be dangerous when travelling the world.
