Customs in Singapore
When you’re shipping to Singapore, all parcels will have to clear customs. If they’re worth less than 400 Singapore Dollars, then they generally enter the country without having to pay duties or customs. If the shipment is worth more than that, they will be subject to duties and customs – most of which will be at a set rate of 7% of the value of the goods.
One of the most important factors in successfully shipping internationally is proper paperwork. By filling in your paperwork clearly and with plenty of detail, you help the customs officials clear your shipment quickly and easily.

Collection & Delivery
Courier Collection
As long as you book in good time, will be able to collect your parcel on the same day from locations throughout Singapore and the UK. If you’re sending a package that is particularly large and heavy, you will need to book a day in advance. You will also need to offer your courier assistance in loading your parcel when they arrive to pick it up.
If you’re sending a pallet or an item requiring a tail lift or pallet truck, please contact our customer care team prior to collection.
Singapore Delivery
Deliveries are made between 9am and 7pm on working days. If the courier has not arrived by 4pm on the delivery due date, we recommend you contact the delivering courier.
If you desperately need a parcel to be delivered before you leave for work, or your passport application has to arrive by noon, you can also choose to pay extra for one of our timed delivery services, which allow you to choose specific timeslots in which delivery can be made. Deliveries are not made on Singapore public holidays.
Parcel Tracking
On each stop on the journey to Singapore, your parcel will be scanned. These scans tell us where exactly your package is, and whether or not there are any problems with it. With you can track your package from the point of pick-up right through to delivery in Singapore, simply by entering the parcel tracking number into our tracking tool, or logging into your account.
And if your package is one of the very few that encounters a problem, we’ll update your status to ‘exception’ and email you and your recipient with more information and advice.

One of the most common mistakes that is made when shipping gifts to Singapore is being imprecise when declaring the contents of the present – simply declaring “Gift” instead of something along the lines of “Gift – books and textbooks”, for example.

Can I send food to Singapore?

That means you can’t send homemade food – instead, make sure that your food shipments are store bought and in their original packaging. Singapore also have a total ban on chewing gum, so that may not be sent.

When duties and taxes are applied to a shipment, it’s a part of the customs clearance process. If this is the case, it is applied by your customs officer and is a part of the shipping procedure that has no control over.
Is there anything that I can’t send to Singapore?
When shipping internationally there are some rules about what you are allowed to send. Your courier will not carry certain things – such as perfume or cologne, which are considered hazardous.
