Because Lithuania is a part of the European Union, you won’t need to pay duties or taxes during the customs clearance process if your package was sent from inside the EU. For packages that are sent from outside the EU, there is an exemption from customs fees for goods that are worth less than €150. More valuable goods will have duties and taxes applied as normal.
To make sure you have the correct fees applied to your goods, it’s important to properly complete your paperwork. By declaring the nature and value of your goods, you help ensure that there are no delays in clearing customs.

There’s not long to wait once you’ve made your booking – choose same day collection and we’ll be at your door just a few hours after your booking is made. You will need to be on hand when we get there however, so you also get the option to pick a collection date that suits you better.
And if you just can’t be around for a collection, you can also make use of your nearest Access Point instead. That’s a local business where you can drop off your package – we’ll collect it from there and deliver it as normal.
You can expect your package to arrive between 9am and 7pm on normal working days. Unfortunately, there is no way to narrow down that delivery window with a normal delivery, though you can make use of our timed delivery services to select a smaller delivery slot instead.
If your package is headed for delivery in the UK and you are not sure that your receiver will be in, you’ll be able to use an Access Point instead. We’ll deliver to your nearest Access Point, where you can collect it when it suits you.
It can be difficult to trust your package into someone else’s hands, but makes sure that you can keep on eye on it from the moment that it leaves your hands until the minute it arrives with your recipient – and you see every stop that it makes along the way. To get started all you need to do is enter your parcel tracking number, into our online tracking tool.
If something does happen to go wrong, we’ll get in touch with you and your receiver to explain the problem, and how to go about fixing it. That way, you’re always in the loop.
Learn more about tracking shipments to LithuaniaJust like sending a normal package to Lithuania from inside the EU, gifts that start in the European Union are exempt from duties and taxes when clearing Lithuanian Customs. Unlike a normal package however, there’s only an exemption for goods worth less than €45. Gifts worth more than this are treated as normal shipments during the clearance process.
To make sure that you get the benefits from this exemption, be sure to make it clear that your parcel is being sent as an unsolicited gift. Don’t forget to fully declare the nature and value of your goods.

We offer a whole range of logistics options, including door-to-door, and port-to-port, FCL or LTL, road and air-freight.

We make it simple to send food to Lithuania, though you should keep in mind that there are extra rules to keep in mind if you’re planning to ship a package containing food.
Food is one of ’s most popular shipments, so we know just how to make sure that your parcel arrives. That’s why you can trust us to do the hard work in shipping victuals to Vilniun, and though we can’t carry your Zagareliai to London, we can send other tasty treats.
It’s important to protect your goods properly, because there are unavoidable bumps and knocks that are part of international shipping. If you’d like your goods to arrive in the same great condition that they left in, your packaging is vital.
There are three key points to keep in mind when packing your goods.
There’s bumps and knocks in store for your package, and the best way to protect your goods is a new, double corrugated cardboard box. Don’t be tempted into using an old box – they can burst in transit.
Wrap your goods individually to make sure that they are not touching each other. Then make sure that your goods are not touching the walls of your box by surrounding them with plenty of packaging material.
Be generous with your packing tape. By using a good amount of tape, you can protect the weakest parts of your box – the seals and corners. Once you’ve sealed your box, you should attach your labels so all information is visible.
There are rules about what you can send to Lithuania by courier. In fact, our partner carriers will not carry any goods they consider hazardous, which is why they won’t carry fireworks, ammunition or the other goods on ’s Prohibited Items list. Lithuania also has its own rules about what you are allowed to bring into the country – including magnetized materials and precious stones.
There are some areas of Lithuania that are more costly to deliver to than others. This is because it is more difficult to ship a package to somewhere like Birzai than it is to a large city like Vilnius – so shipping to Birzai comes with extra time and extra charges. These are taken account in your quote from however, so you’re not taken by surprise.
