Because Malta is a part of the European Union, they are committed to the free movement of goods. That means you won’t need to pay duties and taxes on any shipments that are sent from within the EU. For other packages, goods of a low value are exempt from fees when clearing customs – if your parcel is worth less than €150, you don’t need to worry about duties or taxes.
Just be sure to properly declare the nature and value of your goods in your paperwork so that your fees are properly applied during the customs clearance process.

When you book a delivery with , we could be knocking on your door just a few hours later. We can pick-up on the same day you make your booking unless you are shipping a package that is particularly bulky, in which case you will need to book a day in advance.
You need to make sure that you’re on hand when we arrive to pick up your parcel, so if you’re not available, choose our convenient drop off service, and drop your package off at a retailer local to you, at a time of your choosing.
We’ll deliver on normal working days between 9am and 7pm. We don’t make deliveries on weekends or bank holidays, so keep that in mind if your shipment must be there for a specific day, for example when sending gifts of Christmas presents.
Most of our partners make 3 delivery attempts as standard, however some, such as DPD only make one attempt. We therefore recommend you enter the recipients email address when booking your delivery, so we can email them to let them know when to expect delivery.
Whether you’re sending an old book, or a jewel encrusted statue, every package that we carry is important. That’s why we give you free tracking from door to door with every shipment. That’s right – you can keep an eye on your parcel from the moment it leaves your hands until the moment we pass it over to your recipient.
And, although it’s unlikely, if something does happen to go wrong, you’ll be the first to know. We’ll email both you and your recipient to explain the problem and how to fix it.
Learn more about tracking your Malta packageJust like sending a normal parcel to Malta, there’s no need to worry about duties and taxes when you are sending a gift. There’s also an exemption for goods being sent as a gift from outside of the EU, so gift exemptions worth less than €45 will clear customs without paying fees. Gifts worth more will be cleared as a normal package.
To take advantage of the exemption from duties and taxes for gifts, you’ll need to make it clear you are sending a gift. Don’t forget to explain the full nature and value of the goods though – simply declaring “gifts” could result in delays or extra charges. So be most specific for example ‘Gift - Children’s toy’

When you’re shipping to somewhere so far away, there’s invariably going to be a few bumps or knocks to your goods on the way. To make sure that your goods arrive in the same great condition that they left in, you need to make sure that they are properly packaged.
There are three key points to keep in mind when packing your goods.
This is the first line of defence for books and priceless statues alike. Make sure you use a new, double corrugated cardboard box – old boxes are liable to burst or be crushed on the journey.
Wrap your goods individually – after all, you don’t want them to damage each other. Surround them in your box with plenty of packaging material, and make sure they don’t move at all when shaking the box.
Your packing tape can help protect your box’s weakest points, so be generous. Wrap around your box three times in a union flag pattern, then add your labels so that all information can be clearly seen.
There are some rules about what you can send to Malta by courier, as our partner carriers will not carry hazardous goods. That’s why you can’t send fireworks by couriers, along with the other goods on ’s Prohibited Items list. There are also goods that you are not allowed to import to Malta, such as oxidizing substances and organic peroxides.
There are sometimes extra charges or delays when your parcel is destined for more unusual destinations, since there are extra challenges when shipping outside of major urban areas. That’s why it can take longer to ship to areas like Comino, Gozo or the south of Malta.
If you have regular shipping needs, then we can save you money. It doesn’t matter whether your business is large or small – our business shipping services will help save you money.
