Everything that you send to Taiwan has to pass through Taiwanese Customs. When you fill in your booking form on we create the paperwork you need to clear customs, so remember to be as clear and accurate as possible with the information you provide.
Any shipments worth more than 3,000 New Taiwan Dollars (about £80) will have duties and taxes applied by customs in Taiwan. These will have to be paid by the parcel’s recipient before it can be cleared.

We can collect your package on the day you book, from across the UK. If, however, your shipment is heavier than 50kg, or longer than 180cm in length you will need to book a day in advance.

Your parcel will be delivered in Taiwan between 9am and 7pm on working weekdays. Our couriers do not work on public holidays, so if you’re sending someone a gift to celebrate a special occasion, be sure to book your delivery in good time.
If your parcel is bulky or oversized, you will need to ensure someone is on hand to assist our driver. If this means that you require special equipment, such as a pallet truck or vehicle with a tail lift, then contact us to let us know.

When you send a gift, Taiwanese Customs officials are well within their rights to open it up and inspect the contents. This means that if you’ve carefully wrapped it the paper could end up torn and not properly replaced. If you want your present to look presentable consider using a gift bag instead.

It’s no short journey from the UK to Taiwan and when your package is travelling with a consignment of other boxes for delivery it’s bound to receive a few bumps and squeezes on the way.
Follow these three simple steps to protect your parcel.
Getting a used box from around the back of your local supermarket might seem like a good idea, but hidden weaknesses could lead to your package getting squashed in transit. Buy a new box to be safe.
Wrap each item individually with a protective material, such as polystyrene, then nestle them in more packaging materials within the box itself. There should be 6cm between your goods and the box walls.
Use parcel tape to wrap your box three times in each direction to form a Union Flag pattern. This should cover all corners and joins and add extra protection. Ensure your shipping label is attached and clearly visible.
As with all international shipping, there are items which Taiwan will not you import across its borders, these include anything which propagates Communism, objects which infringe copyright and gambling articles, including lottery tickets. See our customs section above for more information.
Duties and taxes are levied by Taiwan’s government, and they will bill the person the parcel is addressed to. is not involved in this transaction.
Sending to somewhere populous, like Tainan or Hsinchu, means multiple well-maintained transport links. When we have to deliver somewhere more remote, such as Haiduan or Wanrong, this may take extra time and fuel, which can cost extra. These factors will all be included in your initial quote however, so you only have to pay once.
