Fortunately, you only need to remember three things when packaging your parcel:
The box is the protective shell which holds your whole parcel together, so don’t scrimp on getting a brand new one. If your items weigh more than 10kg you will want to get a double-lined box for added stability.
Everything that goes into your box should be wrapped individually, then suspended in packaging materials, so that there is at least 6cm between all objects and the box edges. Make sure nothing can move inside the box, then everything should be cushioned from even the hardest knocks.
Wrap parcel tape three times around your package so that it forms a Union Jack flag pattern on the top. This will cover and strengthen all joins and corners. Remove any old shipping labels and make sure your new labels are firmly secured and readable.
